Jesu Cerebellum Shine your light into my mind Pour your love upon me Fill me up with life sublime Give me hope for living; give me comfort in my dying. Jesu Cerebellum Touch me with your holy flame Guide me through this wilderness Give me comfort for my pain Knock me down or build me up, just bear away my shame. Jesu Cerebellum Shine your light into my mind Heal me in my silence Come and cure me where I'm blind Give me hope for living; give me comfort in my dying.

Render Me 03:15
It's getting far too tight for me It's getting far too hard to breathe I'm feeling it in the air We're not getting anywhere Not anywhere I want to be You say by now I oughta know How badly you want this thing to grow But you don't wanna hear The way you fulfil your fears 'Cause you're too frightened to let go Pull this flesh from off my bones Render me a broken home Take this dream away It's not mine anyway If you won't hear me--or heed me At least leave me alone. You said that you'd be on my side Whatever woes and dreams betide You put this call on me But what's there left for me When it turns out that you lied?

Her lines are lean, her body right Her look surreal, clean & tight Her eyes are green and glowing brightly She murmurs low with dark delight It looks as though she really might Provide my ticket home tonight Stomach tense, my eyes are wide The smells I smell are alkaline It's gonna be a wild ride I'm paying through the nose for gas I'm well aware this all must pass The greatest things in life aren't lasting True love waits. You know how much I wanna do this How I don't wanna do this How I don't want to go through this How right away is not right now And it don't matter anyhow The how and why and where we do this I look into the liquid night The wipers twitch, the oil light Flickers just a little brighter The purring of the motor's breath The fullness of the road's caress The sex and love and gas and death True love waits. I don't need all the thanatosin' Bipolar roller coasting Father, Son, and Holy Ghosting The flesh, the steel, the Open Road The drama of the things unknown The being known; and being, knowing. Fuel to drink or air to breathe The hope to heal, a home to leave Air and fuel for my believing Pedal's down, the tires chirp The tailpipes do the dirty work And I'm the jerk who keeps it rolling

L.C.O. 02:07
Standing out here in the streets (D-1e!) Enumeration is our creed I'm sure you're home but I can see That you don't wanna talk to me If you ain't got noplace to go, just head on down to the L.C.O. "You don't really wanna know." "Get it in, and don't be late!" (D-308!) "I barely made it through the gate!" I want my cash to propagate So overtime intoxicates. Standing out here in the sticks (D-26!) Or stomping around 0-9-0-6 I'm sure you think that I'm a prick, And I don't really give a sh-- "You don't really wanna know."

Little Bird 03:57
LYRICS: Oh, Little Bird by the side of the road Where did you come from, and where will you go? Where will you go, and what will you do? This forest is certainly no place for you. Oh, Little Bird, this is someplace nobody should be-- Oh, Little Bird, I'm so glad you found me. Oh, Little Bird that we found by the way In the faltering sunlight of shortening days The sky is so sullen and leaden with snow Oh, Little Bird, there's so much you don't know. Oh, Little Bird, this is someplace nobody should stay. Oh, Little Bird, come with me, I pray. Oh, Little Bird that we found by the road-- You are so warm, and the winter so cold. So warm and alive, and the winter so dark-- So soft and bright, when the world is so harsh. Oh, Little Bird, I would cry if you wanted to leave. Oh, Little Bird, I'm so glad you found me.

about

As the mixing of AA-BLACKMOON progressed, we realized that we were working on two separate projects at the same time. These songs take things in a slightly different direction than the LP does. Like the full-length, most of these songs were recorded live-in-a-room with overdubbed vocals and lead guitars; analog mixdown from 16 track Reel to Reel.

Mastered by Jesse Sprinkle.
